ホームステイはホテルではございませんので、家族の一員としてそれぞれお互いを尊重し、理解し合うことが大切です。

Host Familyとは？
カナダは多民族国家として、様々な民族と人種を幅広く受け入れており、言葉や文化の異なる
バックグランドを持つ人々がカナダを作り上げているのが特色です。
それぞれの家庭にはそれぞれの生活スタイルやリズムがあり、日本で慣れ親しんだ生活とはまた違ったものになることもあるでしょう。
ホストファミリー宅での食事は日本の一般的な食事と比べると質素です。
朝は各自がシリアル、パンやコーヒーなどで軽く済ませるセルフサービススタイルが一般的です。昼食はホストファミリーによってはセルフで冷蔵庫の中にある、ハム、チーズや野菜などを使ってサンドイッチを作ったり前日の夕食の残りを持って行くこと場合もあります。
夕食は基本的にファミリーが用意してくれます。食事の時間が合えば一緒に食事をします。
